Mc Pee, whose birth name is Makplang John Gupar is a Nigerian and an indigene of Plateau State. Mc Pee is a content creator, content writer and a great artist, Mc Pee is simply seen as a polymath due to his versality in different crafts.
The third child of Mr and Mrs Gupar, he has two older brothers and two younger brothers.
He was born in Keffi, nassarawa state in the early 90’s. He attended Hauwa Memorial Primary School Mangu, St Benedict’s Seminary And convent pankshin and University of Jos were he had his primary education, obtained his O’level certificate and First Degree respectively.
Mc Pee started his Entertainment career with dancing where they always performed in his local church with his defunct crew.
He later metamorphosed into a dancer/actor/singer in secondary.
He was named the best break dancer of the year in his graduating days. After high school Mc Pee put his hands into different entertainment related stuffs including hosting of events and stand up comedy but music stole his heart and it took the better part of his career.
Mc Pee got his Bsc in computer science from the prestigious University Of Jos.
The Prolific artist recorded his first single in 2011 and since then there was no looking back. He afterwards rose to fame and recognition in University of Jos when he was named one of the best artist in the university in 2016, he also won the “Rap god” award in his time at the school.
After then, Mc Pee made a couple of Projects that further stamped his dominance in the rap genre, from his song “Mandela” to “Optimist” to “Zamugama Ujay”.
Mc Pee was featured in over 5 rap cyphers, a number only a few artists can boast of.
In 2020 Mc Pee released a song titled ” Lacasa De Barras” featuring Jayd and the song turned out to be one of the songs of the year.
The song was nominated at the Zikomo International Awards as song of the year and Mc Pee won the category of Best Upcoming African Artist of the year at the Zikomo awards 2021. The song LACASA DE BARRAS also won Best Collaboration at the Luster Beam Awards 2021 and got a Nomination for best collaboration at JEMA awards.
Later that same year he was awarded a humanitarian award by National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) for the role he played in evacuating students in UNIJOS in the miss of a heated ethno-religious crisis.
He also got a nomination for Entertainer of the Year at the Social media awards hosted in Jos that same year but did not win.
Early 2022 he won the Mayor’s Award as the Best Online Publicist Of The Year 2021.
Mc Pee won several contests including Modelling, rap and creativity contests hosted by different organizations.
Mc Pee also juggles music with Influencing, Publicity, Digital Marketing, Strategic Management, Voice Over artistry, Meme Making, Blogging, counselling, Script writing and copywriting amongst others.
