The remarkable lyrical rap maestro, Dr Smith made a post on his Facebook page timeline advising artistes to pay their dues, which he specifically mentioned comedians as stepping stone in making upcoming artistes blow and attain the peak of their career
Furthermore, he noted that upcoming artistes should focus more on free shows, which he believes would enlarge and give them more fan base and opportunities.

Most Artistes disagreed with his views, seeing it as misleading and disrespectful to all artistes, stating the fact that why should artistes be the ones to pay dues to the comedians when it is suppose to be a reciprocal something.
