Plateau State Ministry of Health has made a correction on the earlier declared numbers of of COVID-19 in the state yesterday 15th May 2020. The ministry said the 5cases reported was in error and now reverses the confirmed case to just one bringing the total numbers of confirmed cases to 21 in the state
“The twitter handle of the ministry reads:Plateau State COVID-19 Update – Clarification on the reported confirmed COVID-19 cases in Plateau state yesterday”.
“The ministry wishes to inform the general public that Plateau state confirmed just one case yesterday as the other 4 cases were repeated tests of confirmed COVID-19 patients already receiving treatment”.
This now brings down the total number of active cases to 17. We urge the public to continue adhere to NCDC and WHO guidelines.
