Dr. Patrick Dakum, Aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) bagged the PPYN APC Governorship Aspirants Online Poll, the Plateau Progressive Youth Network (PPYN) APC Governorship Aspirants Online 2022 Award was presented to Dr Patrick Sunday Dakun, he emerged winner after scoring the largest vote during the online poll 16,718 out of the total of 36,244 thousand votes of People that participated during the online polls
The Plateau Progressives Youth Network (PPYN) is a non-politically affiliated group which consists of youths; women and men cutting across the 17 Local Government Areas (LGAS) of Plateau State with over 5000 members and followers on social media platforms.
The PPYN over the past weeks had organized an online opinion poll to seek public opinions on the most preferred, competent, and trusted aspirant in the All Progressives Congress (APC) aspiring for the Governorship of Plateau State. The poll which was conducted online and lasted for 4 days drew public supports, and votes of the various aspirants supporters of the APC in the forth-coming APC 2022 primary elections.
The poll result showed the opinions of the voters and PPYN declared the results as follows;
Dr. Patrick Sunday Dakum polled the largest votes out of the 36,244 votes and scored 16,718 votes that make up 46.1% of the total votes (100%). Others include Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda who polled 14,953 (41.3%), Mr. Sunday Biggs 2,274 (6.3%), Prof. Sonni Tyoden 1,929 (5.3%) and others.
Dr. Patrick Sunday Dakum was declared winner and recommended as the preferred trusted competent aspirant in the forth coming election. PPYN hereby state that, the public had the opportunity to observed and evaluate the perspectives and agendas of the various aspirants in the upcoming elections. Dr. Patrick Sunday Dakum’s honest pragmatic and hopeful insight into Plateau’s problems and needs and his willingness to examine the issues and listen closely to the public’s concern, sets him far apart from other aspirants’ expected techniques and talk.
Dr. Patrick Dakum appreciated the group for the honour and said the progress of the State concerns everyone in the present generation who he urged to work to bequeath a more prosperous State to generations unborn
Dr Patrick Dakum commend the efforts of Plateau Progressive Youth Network (PPYN), stating that what they have done gladdens his heart, he appeal to all his supporters and well-wishers to put in more efforts despite emerging winner of PPYN APC Governorship Aspirants Online poll.

Dr Patrick urged his campaign team not allow the result of the poll make them relent in working harder to achieve victory at both the primaries and main election.
