Jos, Plateau State – January 1, 2025: COA Media Group has announced His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, the Executive Governor of Plateau State, as the recipient of the prestigious Plateau Man of the Year 2024 award.
Governor Mutfwang was recognized for his outstanding leadership and transformative governance, which have driven significant socio-economic advancements in Plateau State. Since assuming office, he has implemented impactful policies and programs across key sectors, including security, agriculture, infrastructure, healthcare, and education. Governor Mutfwang emerged as the winner of the award following a transparent nomination and voting process conducted between November 14 and December 31, 2024. This process, monitored by an independent jury, showcased his popularity among the people for his impactful leadership.
The Plateau Man of the Year award has a legacy of honoring distinguished individuals who have significantly contributed to Plateau State’s growth. Past recipients include notable personalities such as Amb. Yahaya Kwande, Dame Pauline Tallen, and Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong.
The 2024 award will be officially presented during a grand ceremony scheduled for February 2025 at the Crispan Hotel & Events Centre in Jos, Plateau State.
