A man has been arrested for the offence of bestiality after being caught having sex with a goat.
The incident occurred in Gwaram Local Area of Jigawa State.
Equally important, the bizarre development was confirmed by the Jigawa State Police Command. Spokesman of the command, Lawan Shiisu, disclosed that the suspect, a 25-year-old man, was caught in the act.
He made this known in a statement released to newsmen on Friday, September 17, 2021.
However, the identity of the culprit was not disclosed.
Shiisu, nevertheless, stated that the man was arrested at about 1am by police operatives who were on patrol in Gwaram town. The man, aresident of Kunnadi quarters, was arrested by the patrol team while allegedly having intercourse with the goat.
“At about 0100hrs, police from Gwaram Divisional Headquarters; while on patrol in Gwaram and its environs, arrested one 25-year-old resident of Kunnadi quarters; while having intercourse with a goat,” he said.
Further, Shiisu revealed that investigations were ongoing into the development; even as he noted that the suspect would be charged to court thereafter.
In other news, a Swedish woman, Maria Grette, who flew into Nigeria to confront a man who scammed her, has ended up falling in love with him.
Grette, an artist, had met Johnny, the Nigerian con artist, 12 years ago after setting up an online dating profile.
She was 62 at the time and divorced.
“I received messages telling me that people had contacted me, but I never looked at them,” she told the BBC.
Then one day, the divorced woman logged into the site and responded to an email from a man she refers to as “Johnny.”
“I still don’t know why,” she said. “It was like a sudden impulse happening before I could stop it.”
Johnny described himself to the woman as a 58-year-old from Holland, raised in South Carolina; currently working in England. His son was a student at Manchester University. The two exchanged emails for a while and he eventually called her from a UK number. He had an accent that she couldn’t place but she didn’t let it worry her.
