Resident of Yelwan Zangam, Naraguta village woke up to a scary scenes following an over night attack on their community by armed men suspected to be Fulani Militia. Pictures of the reported attack showed corpses burnt beyond recognition, while houses were touched.
Confirming the incident at the community Wednesday morning, a native of the community Mr Dan Werr, who is a Legislative Aide to the Senator Representing Plateau North Senatorial District, Senator ID Gyang, informed this medium that from what they have seen, about seventeen (17) corpses were burnt beyond recognition while others were deposited at Plateau Specialist Hospital, with many houses burnt in the attack and scores injured. Mr Werr condemned the unprovoked attack on the community. Calling for more decisive action from the Lalong led administration and security agencies to curtail such unfortunate occurrences leading to loss of lives.
