Member, Representing Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency, Dachung Musa Bagos has empowered constituents with sewing machines, Grinding Machines and Motorcycles.
Bagos while distributing the items to the beneficiaries who are mostly youths and women said the aim was to support them to establish small scale businesses and take care of their families.
The lawmaker who announced that he will launch a co-oporative scheme in every ward under his constituency next month pleaded with those who did not benefit from the scheme to be patient, as more empowerment programmes are on the way.
Chairman of the Peoples’ Democratic Party in Plateau state, Chris Hassan commended the lawmaker for always making up programmes that help alleviate the suffering of his Constituents and urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the items.
Some of the beneficiaries appreciated the Lawmaker for the gesture and promised to use the items for the benefit of their communities.
There were goodwill messages from the Northern Zone Chairman of the PDP, Davou Mang, Women leaders of Jos South and Jos East and also youth leaders who applauded the lawmaker for always identifying with his Constituents.
