Eleven years ago, the Plateau Man of the Year Awards (PMYA) was born from a simple conviction to celebrate excellence, honor leadership, and inspire service.
Today, it stands as Plateau’s most formidable and credible platform of recognition and impact, a movement that uplifts those whose courage, creativity, and integrity continue to shape our beloved state.
Since 2014, PMYA has honored over 450 trailblazers including reformers, entrepreneurs, artists, and change-makers, whose collective contributions have inspired innovation, strengthened institutions, and deepened community pride. Through our programmes and social impact projects, we have been touching thousands of lives across Plateau and beyond.
As we mark PMYA @11, aligned with Plateau’s Golden Jubilee (50 Years), we celebrate outstanding achievers and the enduring spirit of resilience and unity that defines our people. This edition “The Convergence of Excellence” is both a reflection and a renewal: a tribute to the past, a celebration of the present, and a promise for the future.
