The southern youth for sustainable development through its spokesman Edward Emosa commended the Akwa Ibom state Governor for lending his voice in the stalemate between ASUU and the federal government. Emosa said ” so many politicians at this material time are more concerned about getting tickets and winning the primaries but Governor Udom amidst all, has still lent his voice to end the strike that has hampered the growth of Nigerian Students,
we the youths are the major stakeholders in the present political dispensation and our votes will surely decide who will be the next president, and I don’t see how that will be achieved when most of the youths are at home because of our government’s ineptness.
The spokesman further urged youths to support Gov Udom in his quest of being the next president.
He said at this material time, the delegates are responsible for the outcome of the primaries and they should be considerate in their selection, while we await the results of the forthcoming primaries SYDP are pledging their full support for Governor Udom Emmanuel.
