The voluntary national committee for peaceful presidential elections through its spokesman, Arc. Akpan Effiong in a press release stated that after careful assessment of all the presidential aspirants, they unanimously agreed that Gov. Emmanuel Udom of Akwa Ibom state is the most suitable candidate to take Nigeria out of the state of turmoil, stressing that it’s crystal clear the strides that Udom has attained in Akwa Ibom state.
Effiong said “Akwa Ibom is the second state with the highest direct foreign investment and over 22 different industries have found their way to the state. It is evident that the coconut oil industry alone has diversified the economy of the state, imagine such achievement replicated on a National Level, we won’t be solely dependent on crude oil. This is the leader we need, an innovative technocrat”.
With days being counted to the primary elections, party members and delegates have the responsibility of giving the right candidate the ticket to represent the party, and the Voluntary campaign committee is pleading with everyone who has a role to play in the primaries to do the needful and give Gov Udom the ticket because it aligns with the progression of both the party and the nation.
