Jos, Plateau State – November 2, 2025 — The Usiju Event Center in Jos came alive as Zang Global Innovations officially launched and exhibited its range of locally manufactured technology products, marking a milestone in Nigeria’s growing innovation landscape. The event, themed “Proudly Made in Nigeria – Powering Innovation, Empowering Lives,” drew government officials, entrepreneurs, investors, and development partners from across the state and beyond, all gathered to celebrate homegrown excellence.

Delivering his keynote remarks, Mr. Zang Luka, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Zang Global, expressed deep passion for Nigeria’s industrial growth and innovation. “As the CEO of Zang Global, I am deeply inspired by a single question — where are the made-in-Nigeria products? This question ignited our vision to produce indigenous, environmentally friendly innovations proudly crafted in Nigeria,” he said. Luka emphasized that innovation remains the engine of national development and that no country can thrive without it. Despite limited resources, he affirmed that Zang Global’s mission is to create 15,000 jobs across Africa by 2029 through youth training, innovation, and employment.

He added, “Our commitment is to solving African problems with African solutions while promoting sustainability through e-waste recycling and green technology. Today’s launch of our locally made USB cables and chargers is more than a product unveiling—it is a movement of purpose, people, and progress. Together, we can build a self-reliant and innovative Africa.”

In his goodwill message, Mr. Samuel Gwott, General Manager of Plateau Express Service Limited, hailed the initiative as a shining example of innovation emerging from Plateau State. “When I first learned about this project, I knew I had to be here,” Gwott said. “It’s a refreshing contrast to the negative narratives often associated with our region. Zang Global is a story of creativity, resilience, and entrepreneurship. I’m personally considering purchasing some units for my company and staff.”

Delivering the keynote address, business expert Mr. Ezekiel Gomos praised Zang Global for its discipline and structure, noting that these qualities are vital for attracting investors. “Great ideas require teamwork and integrity. No one succeeds alone,” he remarked. He encouraged young entrepreneurs to remain focused and accountable, explaining that even small investments can make a big impact when managed efficiently. Gomos congratulated Zang Global for setting a high standard for innovation and urged youths to see challenges as opportunities for creativity.

Also speaking at the event, Dr. Cletus Bako Shurkuk, Plateau State Commissioner for Science and Technology, commended Zang Global as a model for youth-driven technological advancement. He applauded the company’s commitment to transforming ideas into tangible products and pledged government support to strengthen the innovation ecosystem in Plateau State. Dr. Shurkuk also announced upcoming state initiatives, including the World Science Day for Development and Peace on November 10, 2025, and the Festival of Science, Technology, and Innovation, which will provide platforms for local inventors to showcase and commercialize their work.

Representing the Amahoro Coalition, a development partner that supports African innovators, the organization’s representative celebrated Zang Luka’s resilience and ingenuity, highlighting his journey from overcoming displacement to building a successful enterprise. “Through the Amahoro Fellowship Program, Zang received mentorship, leadership training, global networking, and funding support. He embodies the spirit of turning pain into purpose and adversity into opportunity,” the representative stated.

The event concluded with the official unveiling and exhibition of Zang Global’s products, including Power Banks (20,000mAh and 10,000mAh, in various colors and designs), USB Cables, Power Adapters, and Rechargeable Lanterns — all proudly made in Jos, Nigeria.

With this groundbreaking launch, Zang Global Innovations has positioned itself as a leading voice for African-made technology, committed to empowering youth, protecting the environment through e-waste recycling, and driving a self-reliant, innovation-powered future for the continent.
