His tone of voice and lyrics are exceptional, also a wonderful performer.

He is a sensational singer, song writer who made his vocal skills to be an instrument. His genre of music is unique Afro-soul, Soul-jazz, RnB, Afro Beat (most times he love the fusions of those genres to make him sound different) he is a good tool lyrically and has a great vocal presence which made him stand out amongst other artist. He is a multi face in the entertainment industry where he make sounds for movies and also an orchestra. You cannot resist he’s scenery and not fall in love at his charms. Chebene, whose official name is Meshack Chebene Monday, was born in the month of January 3rd to the family of lateMr Markson Monday And Mrs Riffkatu Peter Taiwo

EDUCATION

He obtained his first leaving school certificate at Classical Nursery and Primary School Abuja(2003-2007),attended MayGo High school for his junior secondary school Jos (2007-2010) before he graduated with his SSCE at Infant Jesus Academy school Jos(2010-2013) then further to one of the best Polytechnics in Nigeria that is Plateau State Polytechnic Barkin-ladi Jos(Pla-Poly) in which he obtained National Diploma(2015-2016) and he proceeded towards obtaining a Higher National Diploma in Public Administration (2018-2019) also obey the clarion call that is the Nigeria Youth Service Corp (NYSC) 2021.

MUSIC CAREER

Chebene began his music career almost 4years ago After he was with trained by an icon Jeremiah Gyang where he was his back up artist. His first official Single Black Bird produced by X-Phil’s and lot more of songs written to his name. Lucky got picked by an awesome producer El More from a reality Tv show Plateau Idols to his music academy where he under go probation for two years to understand the music business and also equip him on Afro sound later on got signed officially to BEDMUSIC Africa 2022 then dropped his official hit song URGENT 2K with the label in the month of August.

AWARDS AND NOMINATIONS

Chebene won legendary Jeremiah Gyang Music contest and he was a semi finalists in Talent Central Africa held in Benin, he became First runner up in Plateau Idols.
He was nominated at the first edition of JEMA award in alternative song of the year category and also nominated in the Mayor’s award 2022 in the category of Mayor’s Revelation which he won that category. Presently nominated on five categories for the Mayor’s award which are as follows
•Male vocalist of the year
•Next rated of the year
•Alternative song of the year (urgent 2k)
•Street song of the year (urgent 2k)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Besides being an artist, he is also an administrator in his field of study, chef, fashion consultant and vocal coach as well. He has performed in lots of platforms like the German Embassy Jazz night, levitation, always perform for inmates to make them feel better and not feel left out.
