Preparations are in top gear for the highly anticipated Jos Jesus Crusade, scheduled to hold from December 17–21, 2025, at St. John’s College, Jos. The event is organized by Take the Nations in partnership with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Plateau State Chapter. Evangelist Joshua Mape, Secretary of the Planning Committee, briefed the press on the ongoing arrangements, standing in for the Chairman, Rev. Dunka Joseph Gomwalk, who was unavoidably absent.
Evangelist Mape described the crusade as a significant spiritual milestone for Plateau State, coming many years after the historic Reinhard Bonnke crusade. He emphasized that this edition is unique and expected to record an exceptional harvest of souls. The crusade will be led by Evangelist Daniel du Toit, a South African-born, U.S.-based preacher and one of the last disciples commissioned by the late Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke. Du Toit has held more than 27 international crusades and is set to bring his full team to Jos.
As part of the week-long activities, a women’s conference is slated for December 13, while a ministers’ conference will run from December 18–28. Mape expressed strong expectations of healing, deliverance, miracles, and mass salvation, adding that the event will serve as a unifying force for the Plateau Christian community. He also extended an open invitation to all residents, including Muslims, noting that the crusade is non-denominational and open to everyone.
Supporting the briefing, Pastor Julius Arabo, CAN Secretary, explained that the recent spiritual tension in society has created a need for reflection and a return to God. He said buses will be deployed across the city to transport participants to and from the venue free of charge. He further called on individuals willing to volunteer their buses to support the crusade. According to him, training for counselors, prayer teams, field managers, and volunteers has already commenced.
The organizers assured the public of a powerful and peaceful event, featuring gospel artists, evangelism, and evening sessions of preaching and healing. The crusade is free and open to all.
