The Manchester Global Foundation (UK) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Dachung Musa Bagos Foundation, establishing a partnership aimed at advancing cancer awareness and addressing other critical humanitarian needs across Nigeria.
The partnership makes the Dachung Musa Bagos Foundation the first organisation in Nigeria to partner with the Manchester Global Foundation, marking a significant milestone in efforts to promote community development and humanitarian service.
Through the collaboration, both organisations are expected to combine their expertise, resources, vision and commitment to implement impactful programmes designed to improve the well-being of communities across the country.
A key focus of the partnership will be cancer awareness, with initiatives aimed at promoting early detection, prevention and improved understanding of the disease. The collaboration will also address other pressing social and humanitarian needs, particularly those affecting vulnerable populations.
The organisations expressed optimism that the partnership would strengthen community support systems, promote human dignity and deliver sustainable interventions capable of improving lives.
Reacting to the development, the Dachung Musa Bagos Foundation described the agreement as a milestone and expressed gratitude to God for the opportunity to expand its humanitarian reach through the international collaboration.
The foundation also expressed hope that the partnership would inspire hope, strengthen community development efforts and create lasting positive change across Nigeria.
The collaboration underscores the importance of partnerships between organisations in addressing public health challenges and other social needs through coordinated humanitarian initiatives.
The foundations are expected to work together towards building healthier, stronger and more resilient communities in line with their shared commitment to humanitarian service and sustainable development.
