The Hon. Dachung Bagos Scholarship Scheme, which supports students in secondary and tertiary education, has some beneficiaries who were recently inducted by the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) as Medical Laboratory Scientists (MLS) at the Multi-Purpose Hall of the College of Medical Sciences at the University of Jos Teaching Hospital (JUTH) in Lamingo, Jos.
This comprehensive scholarship program is fully funded and covers students from their first year through graduation. The second cohort of inductees includes Esther Atong (MLS), Ibrahim Mamman Pate (MLS), Hannatu Agwom (MLS), and Nyam Choji (MLS). Many other beneficiaries are expected to graduate in the upcoming academic session.
This scheme is just one of several scholarship initiatives that Hon. Bagos is currently supporting, which extend across secondary, tertiary, and postgraduate education.
In a separate statement, the inductees expressed their profound gratitude to the Honourable former member of the House of Representatives, Dachung Bagos, for this life-transforming opportunity.
They highlighted that the scholarship comes from a place of inclusivity and equity, aimed at equipping the next generation of leaders, even after he has left office. This serves as a testament that many others can benefit from this program.
