Akon has sparked widespread reactions after revealing that he found life less stressful when he was involved in relationships with multiple women.
Speaking during a recent interview with The Shade Room, the award-winning singer reflected on his past relationships, noting that managing multiple romantic partners seemed easier than maintaining a monogamous relationship.
According to Akon, being surrounded by several women came with fewer emotional demands compared to the challenges of committing to one partner. He candidly stated, “My life was very much easier when I had multiple women surrounding me, but me being with just one woman is a lot harder.”
While he suggested that having variety in his love life helped reduce pressure, the singer did not provide further insight into his current relationship status.
When asked how many women he is presently involved with, Akon playfully sidestepped the question, saying, “I plead the fifth; it will be incriminating to answer.”
