Nigerian rapper Folarin Falana, better known as Falz has reacted to President Buhari’s tweet of treating those who are too young to understand what occurred during the civil war in a “language they will understand”.

The President had triggered an outcry after he tweeted;

“Many of those misbehaving today are too young to be aware of the destruction and loss of lives that occurred during the Nigerian Civil War.

Those of us in the fields for 30 months, who went through the war, will treat them in the language they understand.”

Reacting to this, Falz asked if he has treated Boko Haram with the “language they understand”.

The rapper who further stated that Buhari tweeted “rubbish”; also asked about the treatment given to kidnappers and bandits by the President, he said, “goes to London today and Paris tomorrow”.

He tweeted;

What is this?

Have you treated Boko Haram with the “language they understand”?

What about the kidnappers & bandits?

Today you go to London, tomorrow Paris.

You are now coming here to tweet rubbish”

In other news, Nigerian sociopolitical activist, Aisha Yesufu has also spoken about President Muhammadu Buhari’s statement. She published a video on the social media platform, Twitter to tackle the Head of State.

Aisha Buhari revealed that she is prepared to die for the country.

This is what Aisha Yesufu stated;

‘‘The whole country is upside down and what you are bothered about is looking for people to go on people’s timeline.

When they go low, I go lower. I deal with them, come up, shower, put on perfume so that they will know it is a choice not to be there.

For those asking me if I am not afraid to be killed.

For what?

The only thing the government can do is either assassinate me or arrest me.

Either one they do, they will give me a voice.”
