First Ever Northern Entertainment Week to hold 8th to 10th Dec. (Registration is Free)

Northern Entertainment Week has been scheduled to hold from the 8th to 10th of December, 2022 and registration is free for all interested participants.

According to NEW, Netflix has allegedly spent about 9 Billion Naira on Nigerian film Makers from 2016 to 2022.

9 Billion! It leads one to wonder how many filmmakers and producers from Northern Nigeria had access to this opportunity or how many films currently on Netflix are produced and directed by professionals domiciled in Northern Nigeria.

Northern Entertainment Week is a first-of-its-kind experience and platform that focuses on bringing the North to the world, with a view to making it a flourishing epicentre for top-class entertainment. With the goal of providing visibility, investment, and interest in Northern Entertainment.

As the foremost entertainment hub, it is set to be the revolutionary platform that will bring together key local, national and global industry stakeholders to collaborate, network, ideate, showcase and exchange knowledge, skills and resources for the North to achieve global reckoning and success.
