As part of Gutul’s annual lecture routine, they donated assorted food items to CLAPAI ORPHANAGE, a Jos based NGO
Delivering the foot items which includes bags of maize, cartons of indomie, bar soap, Maggi cubes also clothings like new wrappers and fairly used clothes, the initiator of GALI (Mr and Mrs Victor Silas Gutul) said it’s to help cushion the hardship faced by the CEO (Mrs Kyenpiya Nyabam) and management of the orphanage in taking care of these vulnerable kids. Victor and his wife implored other spirited individuals to partner with CLAPAI to enhance the welfare of these special kids.
The event which took place at the orphanage home in Kangang saw varieties of games ranging from egg race, dance, sack race, and many others in order to spice up the gathering. Wife of the initiator of GALI (Mrs Valentina Victor Gutul) said the games became necessary knowing too well that the children (Orphans) needs parental love and sense of belonging. Promising that she and her husband would continue to partner with orphanages to help give these kids sense of belonging and also moral support
While responding, Mr. Anthony Owulo James (Project coordinator of CLAPAI) who represented the CEO (Mrs Kyenpiya Nyabam commended Victor, his wife and other team members of GALI and prayed that God bless and replenish them
The event climaxed with prize/ gifts allotments to kids that won different competitions and also those that participated in the various games
