The special assistant on youth and students affairs to the distinguished senator representing plateau north, Senator ID GYANG has described the senator as a youth friendly personality.
He made this known on Sunday while interacting with some selected youths of the northern zone on the grand finale of the maiden edition of plateau north peace,unity and reconciliation football tournament which is slated for 21st March,2021 at Rwang Pam stadium, Jos. It would be recalled that the maiden edition of the football competition kicked started sometimes in February 2021 with about 73 football teams that cut across the 73 electoral wards in plateau north.
The special assistant to the senator stated that, the senator since assuming office as the senator representing plateau north is living no stone unturned in seeing that the desired peace, unity and reconciliation is achieved across his jurisdiction as well as plateau State and Nigeria as a whole.
He pointed out that the senator is carrying the youths of plateau north along by initiating youth oriented programs such as, football competition, leadership training and mentorship programs as we as other youth empowerment schemes too numerous to mention. He stated that senator ID GYANG is “a Pilar for the youth in the 21st century” and called on the youth to support and pray along with the senator towards actualizing more other youth programs that would spring forth after the finals of the competition.
He went further to encourage the youths to key into the senator’s vision which is to uplift the youth of northern zone to a greater platforms.
ITSE also shed more light on the finals of the competition saying it is not just going to be a mere entertainment but the desired peace, unity and reconciliation among people of plateau, plateau State and the nation as a whole, bringing the vision of the distinguished senator to light.
He pointed out that people from all works of life are expected to grace the history making event and professional footballers who would take over from the Nigerian national team and international clubs are expected to spring forth at the end of the tournament.
