Jos Gwate & Poetry Hangout | See How it Went Down at 18street Lounge
Gwate and Poetry hangout is an initiative great minds with great ideas, a group of folks with incredible concept
They came together and form a synergy to bring out this super amazing hangout tagged “Gwate & Poetry Hangout” this is the maiden edition,
Gwate is an indigenous dish of mostly the Berom , Irigwe, Afizere and several other tribes on the Plateau
The event took place at 18street Lounge after National Library
The event was epic, each participant were served with a dish of Gwate
The Gate fee was 500
The turn Up was massive
The Gwate was one of the best
A lot of famous Jos celebrities were sited taking Gwate, it was fun as the poets entertain the guess with sweet sensational melodious poetries
After a brief conversion with one of the Organizers George Lambert we gathered that they 2nd edition is coming soon and this time it will be more fun as the next dish to be serve is Amorah an indigenous dish mostly from the southern Plateau.
