INTRODUCTION
EarlyDreams Hope Foundation is a Non-Governmental Organization with the motto ‘Defining Life’s with Hope and The Future’, and it’s aim at giving hope to individuals living with Disability and empowering them to be innovative in different aspect of Life.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Mrs Blessing Nanman Tangtur was born on the 1st of January 1985 to the family of Mr and Mrs Andrew Polit Zhedang of Iskep village in Pankshin LGA of plateau state Nigeria. When she was birthed, her family celebrated her and called her blessed and indeed she has been a source of blessing!
She’s married to Mr Tangtur Nanman John of Langtang North LGA of plateau state. God have blessed them with four wonderful kids.
She’s a graduate of the prestigious university of Jos where she obtained a B.ed in English special education. She went further to obtain a master degree in admin and planning at the national open university of Nigeria. She has been in the classroom for more than 15 years and have been in various public and private schools including the special education school Abatoir Jos.
Her passion for the children living with disabilities brought about the establishment of Earlydreams inclusive academy where children with special needs are integrated and given a sense of belonging. In her quest in ensuring this, she made the learning of sign language compulsory to all students and staff of the school.
She has been a great mother and mentor to persons living with disabilities in our society. Her love and passion for persons living with disabilities brought this great initiative of establishing the EARLYDREAMS HOPE FOUNDATION to enhance her pedestal in meeting the needs of persons living with disabilities.
She’s a great entrepreneur who has traveled over ten centuries of the world doing business. And her desire to train and educate persons living with disabilities in business and skills acquisitions is very key to her.
It is very paramount at this point in time to note that her engagement in this course is not for self exaltation but passion.
THE UNVEILING
On this day 26th June,2020,the NGO Unveiling was held at EarlyDreams at No 34 Yakubu Gowon Way Jos,Plateau State.
In participation were about fifty(50) Men,women and Children living with disabilities on the Plateau.
To graced the event were the Fmr. Chairman of Disability Right commission (DRC) Chairman, Plateau Branch,Mr. James David Lalu,Mr Carl Gurumyen (Secretary Disability Right Commission, Plateau State),Mr Gad Peter (Member,Board of Trustees), Apostle Jack Mamven (The Senior Pastor of Rabbi’s House Int’l) and one of the Sponsors of the Organization,The CEO of Annbreeze Enterprise Mrs Anna Nannim and lots more.
Lots of smiles was put on faces of the Disable individuals who attended the event,some got wheelchair,Envelopes with Awesome amount to support them, palliatives were given to all of them and Two(2) of the Participants who are into Music got donations to support their Career.
Today as we mark the establishment of this great foundation, I believe that it will further foster a better integration and meeting the urgent needs of persons living with disabilities.
