A captivating listening party was held on Saturday, May 27 at the Cocin Headquarters in Jos, Plateau State. Margaret Dachomo and the Worship Team gave a rousing performance at the event, previewing some of the songs they are planning on recording for their forthcoming album
Magaret Dachomo, a gifted musician and songwriter, expressed her pleasure about the listening party, which offered a chance to test some of the songs before the real recording session slated for July 2023. She stated that the album would be released near the end of the year and hoped that the songs would touch and change hearts for the sake of God’s Kingdom.
Margaret Dachomo thanked God and acknowledged Him as her source of inspiration at the ceremony. She also expressed her gratitude to her family, close friends, and churchgoers for coming to the listening party and for their constant support. The outstanding musical experience provided to the appreciative crowd left them eagerly expecting the album’s release.
Respectable Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos, a participant in the event and a representative of the Jos North/South Federal constituency, joined others in offering Margaret Dachomo and the Worship Team support and words of encouragement. Bagos prayed in his speech for more chances for Plateau State artists. In order to promote the artistic talent available on the plateau, he emphasized the significance of artists coming together as a team.
Bagos indicated his willingness to help the Plateau State artists, opening the door for a bright future for the region’s creatives.
At the listening party, renowned gospel musicians including Daps, Dave Azi, Jah Device, Godstime Okorie, and many others spoke words of encouragement. They contributed to the overall positive energy and encouraged Margaret Dachomo and the Worship Team to continue working hard on their musical projects.
Music fans in the region are anxiously anticipating the release of Margaret Dachomo’s new album as the album recording nears and the excitement grows.
