The Nigerian Army has announced a special recruitment exercise for skilled Nigerians as part of the 92 Regular Recruits Intake, with online applications scheduled to run from September 16 to October 21, 2026.
The Army announced the recruitment on Friday via its official X account, stating that the exercise is aimed at attracting Nigerians with technical and specialised skills required in various areas of military service.
The recruitment is open to qualified individuals with skills in areas including boat operation, marine mechanics, electrical and mechanical engineering, as well as other technical trades and apprenticeships.
According to the Army, interested applicants must meet the prescribed eligibility requirements and complete their applications online within the stipulated registration period.
Applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth and between 18 and 35 years old as of October 21, 2026.
The Nigerian Army also stressed that the recruitment exercise is free of charge, warning applicants against paying money to individuals or organisations claiming to have the ability to facilitate recruitment.
Qualified candidates have been advised to submit their applications before the October 21, 2026 deadline.
The exercise forms part of the Nigerian Army’s efforts to strengthen its ranks by recruiting personnel with relevant technical and specialised skills.
