The Governor-elect of Plateau State, His Excellency, Barr Caleb Mutfwang, has inaugurated 9 members of the transition Committee at an occasion held at Elial Centre Jos on Tuesday, 25th April 2023.
Governor-Elect Caleb Mutfwang, thanked the people of Plateau State for giving the PDP the mandate to serve
He said he was committed to the mandate of the people as the trust reposed on him would not be dashed and thanked the teaming youths for their overwhelming resilience during the electioneering process.
He said “We are not going into the government with a mindset of 95percent to 5percent we will carry everyone along, the expectation is that we must deliver on good governance to the people of Plateau, and to be given this responsibility is an opportunity of a lifetime that must not be wasted”
“Those who will receive any benefits from this administration must know that such benefit is a channel for others too, the task ahead is quite enormous that requires us to go in as a united team so that we can thrive in the activities of governance”.
We have great confidence in the judiciary that all the tribunals will acquit themselves with the fear of God and all responsibility as such we ask our supporters to remain steadfast and confident.
In his remarks, the Atiku/Mutfwang campaign council chairman, Latep Dabang, in his farewell speech, appreciated the Chris Hassan-led Peoples Democratic Party Plateau State administration for singling him out to serve the party after decamping as the Plateau All Progressive Congress State Chairman.
He also thanked the former governor Sen Jonah Jang, governor-elect Caleb Mutfwang and party stakeholders for their faith in him and for the drive they all had to ensure the campaign was a success.
He said his return to the party was to add value to the PDP and went on to wish the incoming administration all the best to excel.
