In a bold and timely move, the Governor of the Performing Musicians Employers’ Association of Nigeria (PMAN), Plateau State Chapter, AMB. COMR. HUMPHREY BOBBY COLOR held a high-level closed door meeting with key stakeholders and prominent musicians across the state. The urgent gathering addressed disturbing attempts by certain selfish individuals who are allegedly plotting to ignite division within PMAN a move that could potentially threaten the peace and unity of Plateau’s vibrant entertainment industry.
At the heart of the meeting was one clear and resounding message: Plateau State musicians are united, and PMAN is not a playground for factional politics or selfish interests.
One of the highly respected stakeholders did not mince words, warning sternly that any individual or group attempting to stir crisis in the name of creating factions within PMAN will be dealt with according to the full weight of the law. He emphasized that Plateau remains a fragile state, and the entertainment industry must not be used as a tool to breed disunity or crisis especially by those who have no true stake or understanding of the terrain.
The leadership under the current PMAN Governor AMB.COMR HUMPHREY BOBBY COLOR remains strong, legitimate, and widely accepted. Musicians across the state have shown overwhelming support and unity, rejecting any attempt to divide the community or undermine the current structure.
Furthermore, all security agencies and relevant authorities have been contacted to remain alert and take swift action against any instigators. The entertainment sector in Plateau will not be used as a pawn in cheap political games.
To those with aspirations to lead PMAN: there is a democratic process the ballot, not backdoor appointments or forced entry by unknown hands. The current leadership will not be shaken by noise or distraction, and Plateau’s youth will not be divided.
In Plateau, we are one voice, one sound, and one family. PMAN stands firm united, vigilant, and ready to defend the integrity of its vision.
