The Performing Musicians Employers’ Association of Nigeria (PMAN) and the Musical Copyright Society Nigeria (MCSN), in collaboration with the Plateau State Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Hospitality, are set to inaugurate a significant new initiative.
The PMAN Plateau State Chapter is preparing to launch its 10-member legal team, marking the beginning of a robust revenue drive as outlined in the organization’s constitution. This initiative aims to streamline operations and ensure compliance within the entertainment industry across the state.
The legal team, composed of seasoned professionals, including Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANs) and solicitors from various prestigious chambers, brings a wealth of expertise in entertainment law. Their mission is to notify all event venues, clubhouses, and event organizers about the forthcoming operational changes. Letters of notification will soon be distributed, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and can comply with the new regulations.
This collaboration is expected to enhance the regulatory framework of the entertainment industry in Plateau State, promoting a more organized and legally compliant environment for all involved.
