Amb Humphrey Iroegbu, PMAN Governor, Plateau State Chapter during a meeting on 20th March, 2022 state out some new benefits to all PMAN members.
Amb Humphrey also reiterate the need for all musicians, artistes, record labels and other entertainers to register with PMAN in order to participate in this great benefits, as this is also a wonderful opportunity of synergy between all musicians on the Plateau and beyond.
Comr. Nathaniel Ndam (Curious), PMAN Plateau State Chapter, Head of Media also emphasis on the need for all entertainers, entertainment outfits, record labels, users of music and musicians to create a strong synergy in order to strengthen and ignite the drive for entertainment on the Plateau.
He also urge all artistes and other entertainers to cease this great privilege, register to become full members of PMAN to better the entertainment industry.
All PMAN members are hereby advised that registration has commenced for unregistered members, while all registered members under the “PMAN BIOMETRIC CARD SCHEME “will soon begin to receive their Cards and enjoy tremendous benefits, such as

Aim:
To organize an Association d of musicians who are engaged in the employment of the services of musical instrumentalists, producers, entertainment managers, arrangers etc. in the performance of their duties, under a virile, strong and united body for their mutual benefits and welfare.
To promote the study, practice and dissemination of the knowledge of music and musicology throughout the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
To establish the machinery for negotiations between the Associations and the representatives of other persons or bodies engaged in the use of the works of the musicians.
To determine by negotiations between the Associations and to organize an association of musicians who are engaged in music entertainment at all levels, in the performance of their duties under a virile, strong and a united front for their mutual benefits and welfare.
To establish the machinery for negotiations between the Association and the representatives of affiliates at the national level.
To secure equitable observance of Agreements so reached by negotiation.
To support members bearing in mind their area of musical interest and their geographical area of operation.
To engage in and organize the training and education of members generally and to set up institutions to facilitate such training and education in Nigeria.
To eradicate or reduce the infringement of copyright throughout Nigeria by promoting the legislation and enforcement of relevant laws.
To protect members of the Association from persons whose character and circumstances render them unworthy of practice and participation in the music industry.
To protect the creative and performing rights of all member musicians in Nigeria.
To enter into agreements with Phonograph producers; Record label owners; Manufactures of photograph records and Music audio/visual at all levels; Broad casting organizations; Hotels, Night clubs; Concert halls; Cinema houses and other venues where music is used for public entertainment, for the payment of Royalties to members through the Association, as PMAN deems fit. This rule relieves anybody or group hitherto from the responsibility and places it on PMAN henceforth.
To take such action as may be necessary and reliable for the purpose of avoiding industrial dispute.
To give members all such possible assistance as is in the opinion of the members of the Association proper and desirable.
To engage in the importation, exportation, manufacturing RIONG distribution of musical instruments and accessories.
To liaise, affiliate or co-operate with bodies of musicians in other countries and other international organizations for the achievement and furtherance of the objects of the Association.
To publish and distribute periodicals, newspapers, books, leaflets, documents, magazine, sheet music and other related publications and documents that the Association may deem desirable in the promotion of its interest and that of its members.
To collect and disseminate statistical and other data and information relating to music and the music industry to all the appropriate authorities and bodies in Nigeria.
To effect settlement of dispute pertaining to payments of royalties and other fees and entitlements between members and their recording companies and other commercial/industrial disputes whenever such occur.
To promote co-operation, assistance and unity amongst individual members as well as mutual understanding amongst related industries, Union, Associations.
To co-operate with, advice and make representations to governments on all matter affecting musicians, performing artistes and the music industry in Nigeria.
To control and enforce all rules and regulations guiding the use of musical works and sound recordings of non-Nigerians in Nigeria; including order to avoid the subversion of the above objectives.
To perform and engage in the pursuit of other activities which in the opinion of the Association are lawful and incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objects of the Association.
To ensure that every practicing or performing musician becomes a member of the Association.
