Amb Humphrey Iroegbu, Representing the PMAN Plateau State Chapter responded to the message today via a press statement with the following caption below:
“The performing musicians association of Nigeria PMAN Plateau state chapter is calling on all event organizers or individuals to collaborate with the Union in achieving its objective which is seeing to the fact that artiste are not being used without rightful royalties Accord to them and also beg individuals to deceased from trying to drag the name of the union to the mod.
The governor of PMAN Plateau state chapter, Amb Humphrey Iroegbu aka Bobby Color, stated this on a press interview following the recent activities of entertainer’s on social media, and other platforms”.
He added that “gone are those days when some power drunk individual use social media to destroy the name of the union, bringing confusion and enmity between musicians.
PMAN is out with the backing of the law and recent collaboration with MCSN, NCC and the law enforcement agencies to arrest all those behind this act.
we are musicians not Hoodlums, and for the election that was supposed to hold but didn’t was because the turnout was very poor, just one person who showed interest to contest for the post of governor, but didn’t meet up with the criteria, while the other wanted to bribe his way in.
The faction issue from the presidency was also a major problem why the election didn’t hold. The union has to refund back registration fee to the aspirants for transparency pending when the union is ready for a proper election”.
