President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to address the nation in a broadcast on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at 7:00 am. This announcement comes in the wake of the ongoing #EndBadGovernanceProtest, which commenced on August 1, 2024, and is expected to continue until August 10, 2024, if the protesters’ demands are not met.
The President’s address will be broadcast on television, radio, and other electronic media outlets through the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN). The broadcast will also be repeated at 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm on the same day.
