In a solemn gathering organized by the Initiative for Better & Brighter Nigeria (IBBN), led by Prophet Dr. Isa El-Buba, men, women, and youth poured into the streets of Plateau State on January 6, 2023, to mourn the lives lost in recent heinous attacks. The procession, starting from the old airport roundabout and ended at the famous Secretariat Bridge, resonated with heartfelt prayers and a plea for justice.
Prophet Dr. Isa El-Buba, expressing gratitude for the massive turnout, commended the government for allocating days of mourning. In his impassioned address, he emphasized that the issue transcends religious boundaries, pointing to an intentional agenda by groups like the Fulani militia to displace locals from their ancestral lands—an unequivocal act of terrorism.
“We are peacefully demanding the Government to fish out the bandits within 21 days or face sustained protests until justice prevails. The escalating impact on the community, from soaring prices of essential goods to halted businesses and paralyzed agriculture, cannot be ignored.”
Prophet El-Buba’s plea extended beyond security concerns, addressing the societal impact of unregulated alcoholic drinks. He urged the government to intervene and curb the consumption of dangerous substances like Goskolo, emphasizing the role of men as defenders.
