The Plateau State Internal Revenue Service (PSIRS) has announced the availability of more than 5,000 unclaimed driver’s licences received from the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), urging residents to collect their documents without delay.
In a public announcement, the agency said the backlog consists of outstanding driver’s licences belonging to Plateau residents who have been waiting for their licences.
PSIRS directed all affected residents to visit its headquarters located at No. 6 Bank Road, Jos, to collect their licences during official working hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.
The agency advised applicants to come along with valid means of identification and any other relevant documents to ensure a smooth verification and collection process.
The announcement was signed by Wulashik Lucius Dafaan, Head of the Corporate Communications Department, Plateau State Internal Revenue Service.
