THE SHARKSKIN BRAND
Sharkskin was the winner of the First B&H Golden Tones Grab the Mic Music National Champion in 1998/99. The championship was the music competition the duo Psquare won in 2001. Sharkskin’s Real name is I.K.OBARIASE WILLIAMS AGBONBA. He is from Edo and Plateau state respectively.

Sharkskin has three Albums to his credit;
1. Na Jeje Be Life album on Audio Cassette (Christian Dior Music Lagos) 2000/2001. Na Jeje be life on Audio CD 2006
2. The Unexpected Cross-Fire Album (Ryte Time Entertainment Music Label Abuja) 2008/2009
3. Fair Play with the A-team Nigerian Squad (mbi music Label Lagos) 2011-2013
He is a certified producer, writer, voice over expert under the Apprenticeship of Igo Motion Picture International.
Sharkskin wrote the movie After School Hours1&2 and went on to feature in the Movie ‘Silver spoon’ in 2005/2006 which starred Daddy Showkey, Daddy Fresh and Ayangba boys(Black Reverends), and Ernest Asuzu in Lagos.
His first music hit that attracted National attention was the remake and reproduction of the popular drama soundtrack called “The New Masquerade”. Sharkskin reproduced and recreated the soundtrack into a genre he calls AFRO-HIP-LIFE. The reproduction of his music category was conceptualized from the music genres of Afro- Juju, Highlife music and Afro beat.
The song reproduction and concept became an instant hit with other hit songs like ‘AISHA and JEJE’ followed up with the spice of Hip-Hop Flavor, it was indeed new and refreshing to the ears of those who had heard of the song then and even now.
As an Afro-Hip-Life music initiator, sharkskin has scored many soundtracks. Example of such movies are “Moment of Bitterness and Home too far Produced and Directed by Izu Ojukwu. ‘Tobi by Jude Okoye’ and Scout Directed by Late Ifeanyi Onyeabor and so many movies.
He has also produced and directed a recent Movie titled DJOLE.
Sharkskin is currently working on his 4th consecutive Studio Album titled “SHARKSKIN GOLDEN TONES” and he is also raising a brand of new talents in Jos and across Nigeria. His area of specialty is in the area of performance, concert production and Management and with so much to offer sharkskin is still representing and producing annually a patent show and concert He Calls “Dancehall Afro-Hip-Life Mega Jamslam” which is one of his initiations for scouting, presenting and promoting upcoming artiste.
