Architect Felix Arome has officially assumed office as the Director-General of the Front Line Alliance Network (FAN), promising to strengthen the organisation’s structures and grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Arome took over the leadership of the political support group during a formal handover ceremony following his appointment to head the organisation.
FAN, which has structures across Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, has already declared its support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s bid for a second term in the 2027 presidential election.
In his remarks after assuming office, Arome expressed appreciation to the founders of FAN for the confidence reposed in him, assuring members that his administration would focus on expanding and consolidating the organisation’s political structures across the country.
The new Director-General said FAN would work closely with political groups, individuals and organisations aligned with President Tinubu’s 2027 presidential ambition.
He called on members to intensify efforts to establish and strengthen the group’s presence at the grassroots, particularly at the local government level.
Arome also said positions and responsibilities within the organisation would be based on individual capacity, commitment and performance, rather than sentiments or personal considerations.
He further assured members that their dedication, sacrifices and contributions to the growth of FAN would be recognised, as the organisation begins preparations for the 2027 electoral season.
He urged members to remain committed and united as FAN works towards building a stronger nationwide political mobilisation network in support of its preferred candidate.
