The controversial movie — ‘VeryDarkBlackMan’ — which debuted four days ago, has already amassed over 103,000 views on YouTube. It features ace actor Gentle Jack in the lead role.
In a recent Instagram video, VeryDarkMan acknowledged the recognition as an honour, appreciating that a biopic was made about him just a few years into his rise to fame.
However, the social media celebrity admitted feeling disappointed with how his story was portrayed.
The activist emphasised that Gentle Jack should have contacted him directly to better understand his background, motivations, and personal journey.
VeryDarkMan said he would have been fully transparent, even sharing controversial aspects of his past.
“By now I am sure most of you have seen the movie NOLLYWOOD DID WHERE LEGENDARY GENTLE JACK PLAY ME. Honestly I am not happy about the movie. It cringed me, I was so irritated even watching it. They got the right character and our look alike however the story was just irritating,” he stated.
“You know why? In the whole country, it has not been long that I started reigning as VeryDarkMan, let us say two to three years now.
“I am going to three years in the game, consistently I have been at the top and from no where they are doing a biopic of me, telling my own story where there have been legends and no one told their story.
“That is something big, that means they see I have been trying, so I appreciate the love. But I have just a problem with Gentle Jack, you are legend. There is no way Gentle Jack would send me a message and I would not respond in less than 30 minutes if I see it. There is no way, absolutely no way.
“I wanted to talk earlier but I wanted people to watch it, so that they can understand where I am coming from. Since Gentle Jack had that power, he should have written to me VeryDarkMan what is your story? I want to play your story and I will tell you everything you need to know about me.
“What motivated me in speaking up for people, what made me this, why I do not collect money for anything, my background, everything I will tell you. I would not hold back anything, I am not interested in whatever money you people decide to make out of it.
“I will give you the whole story down to when I was doing sexual content, the ladies I have slept with, the people I sold my explicit content to, I would not hide anything from you. I do not fear anybody, I do not have plans to be a good person or let people see me as a good man.
“I am convinced by what I do, so Gentle Jack would have reached out to me and said give me your story, instead they went to make a caricature of me and Koko P.”
