In light of recent remarks credited to Mr. Clinton Garuba, we find it necessary to set the record straight and respond with clarity and responsibility.
It is both laughable and regrettable that Mr. Garuba an individual with no roots, stake, or legacy within Plateau State would attempt to insert himself into sensitive political discussions and stoke disunity among Plateau sons and daughters. His unsolicited comments are an unwelcome intrusion that reek of opportunism and desperation.
We ask plainly: Who is Clinton Garuba on the Plateau?
What moral authority or political capital does he possess to speak about leaders whose loyalty, sacrifice, and service to the people of Plateau and the PDP are beyond question?
Mr. Garuba is not a stakeholder in our political terrain. He is neither from Plateau nor a recognized voice in its politics. His attempt to use the respected name of our father, Senator Jonah David Jang, to give weight to his commentary is both disrespectful and disingenuous.
If Mr. Garuba and his associates seek relevance, we urge them to do so with courage and honesty not by hiding behind the name of a revered elder statesman who has labored for unity and justice within the PDP and Plateau State at large.
What Do They Want With Bagos?
The attempt to portray Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos a true son of the soil and a people’s representative as a divider is baseless, malicious, and insulting to the collective intelligence of Plateau citizens.
Bagos’ legacy is rooted in justice, equity, youth inclusion, and grassroots empowerment. His contributions are visible and verifiable. No amount of backroom whispering or sponsored commentary can erase the trust and confidence he commands among the people.
Let it be clear: The Plateau PDP is not a personal property or propaganda machine. It is a family, forged by the people and for the people. The era of monopolies and exclusion is over. The demand now is for inclusion, renewal, and generational leadership not for distant voices trying to dictate local affairs.
We therefore caution Mr. Garuba to respect boundaries. The Plateau political family is capable of managing its own affairs without lectures from Edo-based consultants acting as megaphones for disconnected narratives.
Our Stand Is Clear:
1. Plateau PDP is home to all who love and serve the people.
2. The voice of the people will always rise above sponsored noise.
3. We will not allow external meddling to destabilize our pursuit of unity, progress, and credible leadership.
