Nigerian gospel rapper Abe1os has officially premiered his much-anticipated 14-track album The Vision Project at an exclusive listening session held at Nexus Studio, Koronjo House in Jos, Plateau State.
The intimate event drew a diverse audience, including families, on-air personalities, bloggers, producers, artists, poets, and key stakeholders in the music industry.
Attendees were treated to an immersive experience that highlighted the album’s sound, message, and creative depth, alongside opportunities for networking and artistic exchange.
Speaking at the event, Abe1os reflected on the strong spiritual influence of his parents, Rev. Edward Ali and Mrs. Edward Ali, noting that his upbringing in Mangu Local Government Area, grounded in Christian values, discipline, and community, has significantly shaped his life and music.
Beyond his musical career, the artist revealed he is also a marine engineer, a profession he says has instilled discipline and structure in his creative process. He explained that The Vision is a deeply personal project, inspired by his transition from university life into adulthood and professional responsibility, with themes centered on identity, purpose, and spiritual growth.
Abe1os described the album’s creation as reflective and spiritually driven, rooted in peace, joy, love, and gratitude. He also acknowledged the contributions of featured artists, including Israel Ochigbo, Tanmicit, and Sage Baba, noting that their collaborations enriched the project’s overall message and sound.
Despite facing challenges such as time constraints, financial demands, and coordinating multiple producers, the rapper said he remained committed to delivering the project, emphasizing consistency, patience, and faith as his guiding principles.
The event also featured live performances by Neken Chuwang, Damaris, and Zic Music, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.
In his remarks, Dr. Steve Dowo offered prayers for the artist, seeking divine guidance and greater impact for his music ministry, while encouraging continued support for the project.
Similarly, Rev. Dr. Abel Ochigbo commended Abe1os for his devotion, consistency, and commitment, describing gospel rap as an effective tool for reaching wider audiences.
Media personality Morgan Tok assured the artist of sustained radio support, while Pedro Omobolaji praised his efforts and urged him to remain steadfast in his career.
In a show of support, Neken Chuwang also pledged assistance through his NGO, the Creative Catalyst Foundation, aimed at expanding the reach of Abe1os’ gospel rap ministry.
Delivering a vote of thanks, Rev. Edward Ali expressed gratitude to God and all supporters for their prayers, financial contributions, and encouragement. He noted with pride his son’s commitment to faith, recounting how he shared Christ with a Hindu colleague and continues to use rap music as a tool for ministry.
