Support groups loyal to former House of Representatives member, Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos, have raised ₦10.1 million to purchase his nomination form as he prepares to contest for a seat in the House of Representatives.
The fundraising effort, according to the groups, underscores their confidence in Bagos’ leadership and their determination to see him return to the National Assembly.
They explained that Bagos’ decision to step down from the Senate race and instead seek election into the House of Representatives was a strategic move aimed at promoting party unity, peace, and stability ahead of the elections. The groups described the decision as a demonstration of sacrifice, discipline, and statesmanship in deference to party leadership and the broader interests of the party.
Speaking on behalf of the supporters, representatives noted that Bagos has remained a dependable and result-oriented leader whose track record in public service continues to inspire confidence among constituents.
They stressed that his return to the National Assembly would further enhance quality representation, youth empowerment, and constituency development.
“This contribution is not merely financial support; it is a clear expression of our trust in Hon. Bagos’ capacity and our collective desire to see him continue delivering impactful leadership at the federal level,” the group stated.
The support groups also pledged to intensify grassroots mobilization across all wards and communities to ensure Bagos records a resounding victory in the forthcoming elections.
The statement was signed by Lang’s Pwajok on behalf of the Bagos Support Groups.
