As Plateau State marks a year under the leadership of Governor Caleb Mutfwang, Da James Stephen Pam, the CEO and Managing Director of Jamre Investment Mining, Construction, and Agricultural Services Limited, extends his heartfelt congratulations.
In his message, Pam praised both Governor Mutfwang and Deputy Governor Ngo Josephine Chundung Piyo for their exceptional achievements over the past year. He highlighted the significant strides made in various sectors, including security, infrastructure, agriculture, education, health, and environmental sanitation, which have collectively transformed the state and improved the lives of its residents.
Pam noted the administration’s commendable resettlement plans for displaced individuals and other community-focused projects, emphasizing the importance of the Governor’s commitment to good governance and the equitable distribution of democratic benefits across all levels of society. However, he stressed that the journey towards prosperity requires continuous implementation of sound policies and responsiveness to the needs of the people.
“As your administration progresses, there is an urgent need to intensify efforts towards stimulating the state’s economy,” Pam remarked. He underscored the necessity of creating an enabling environment for businesses, which he believes will not only reduce over-reliance on government but also generate better employment opportunities, thereby reducing restiveness and crime.
For sustainable growth and development, Pam advocated for a transparent and accountable government, ensuring prudent utilization of resources for the collective good of the people. He expressed optimism that the future holds more prosperity for Plateau State, particularly with increased attention to the business community.
