Pastor John Anosike, president and senior pastor of the New World Faith Ministries (Spirit Revelation Church) in Cape Town, South Africa, has made a striking prophecy about Nigerian music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido.
In a video that has gone viral online, Pastor Anosike declared that Davido has been divinely chosen by God to lead Nigeria as its future president.
He described the prophecy as a “heavenly mandate,” stating that God has anointed the singer to bring unity and economic freedom to the nation.
“There is a young man in my country that is known for his music… That one God has put his oil on him. He calls him my servant. This is my first time of speaking publicly, his name is Davido. God said he is my servant. For he shall be president of Nigeria and he shall unite the country,” Anosike declared.
Despite Davido’s secular music background, the pastor emphasized that God has a divine assignment for him. He said he saw a vision in which oil was poured on Davido’s head—a spiritual symbol of anointing and purpose.
Pastor Anosike further urged Nigerians to pray for the artist, warning that spiritual forces may try to resist the calling upon his life.
“Begin to pray for him for protection because when the oil comes on you in the realm, Satan sees it,” he said.
He also revealed that Davido is destined to play a significant role in transforming Nigeria’s economy, calling on believers to support him spiritually as he walks into his divine assignment.
