The historic Ilūm Achá Tarōk Gala Nite is set to light up Langtang North as Nollywood actress Destiny Etiko is billed to grace the highly anticipated event, marking the first-ever edition of the cultural and entertainment celebration.
The two-day gala, proudly powered by ICÚ O’TARŌK, is scheduled to hold on Friday, November 20, and Saturday, November 21, 2026, at Tim Tali Club, Pajat, Langtang North, Plateau State.
The event is expected to bring together lovers of culture, entertainment, fashion and the creative arts for what organisers describe as a landmark celebration of Tarok heritage and creativity.
A Celebration of Tarok Culture and Creativity
A major highlight of the gala will be a competitive choral rendition by Tarok women groups, with participating groups standing a chance to win cash prizes of ₦200,000, ₦150,000 and ₦100,000, alongside other consolation prizes.
The gala will also feature raffle draws, live performances by some of the best Tarok creatives, and a fashion exposé, providing a platform for local talents to showcase their abilities and cultural identity.
With the presence of Destiny Etiko expected to add further star power to the celebration, the event is positioned to attract attention beyond Langtang and showcase Plateau’s rich cultural heritage to a wider audience.

The red carpet begins at 5:00 p.m., while the main event starts at 7:00 p.m. daily on both Friday and Saturday.
