Rt. Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi has concluded the first day of his ward tour across communities in the Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency, with massive turnout recorded in the various wards visited on Monday, May 11, 2026.
The lawmaker, who represents the constituency in the House of Representatives, visited Tal, Garram, Chip, Jiblik, Langkang, Belning, Kangshu, Kadung, and Fier wards as part of his ongoing grassroots engagement tour.

Addressing supporters and residents at different stops, Gagdi emphasized the need for unity, political awareness, and peaceful participation as preparations ahead of the 2026 and 2027 political activities continue to gather momentum.
He thanked the people for their continued support and described the large turnout witnessed during the tour as a reflection of the strong grassroots connection and loyalty existing across the constituency.
Gagdi urged residents not to allow intimidation or distractions to weaken their resolve, insisting that political power belongs to the people and must be protected through active participation in democracy. He also called on supporters to remain peaceful and focused, stressing the importance of maintaining unity and peace despite political differences.
The federal lawmaker further highlighted the importance of education, leadership, and community development, assuring constituents that their voices would continue to be heard.
The events were marked by chants, cheers, prayers, and displays of solidarity from supporters, as residents turned out in large numbers to welcome the lawmaker during the first phase of the tour.
