Former member of the House of Representatives, Dachung Musa Bagos, has been screened and officially cleared by the All Progressive Congress to contest for the Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency seat.
The screening and clearance represent a significant step in Bagos’ bid to return to the National Assembly and once again represent the constituency.
Party officials disclosed that the exercise forms part of the APC’s preparations ahead of its forthcoming primaries, aimed at vetting aspirants seeking elective positions under the party’s platform.
Reacting to the development, Bagos appreciated the party leadership for conducting what he described as a transparent screening process. He also reaffirmed his commitment to democratic principles and quality representation for the people of Jos South and Jos East.
The former lawmaker further expressed gratitude to his supporters across the constituency for their continued encouragement, loyalty, and confidence in his leadership.
Bagos is expected to intensify political consultations and grassroots mobilization as the APC primaries draw closer.
