The Nakam Old Students Association (NOSA), alumni of Nakam Memorial Secondary School, Panyam, has re-elected Dakas Beatrice C.J. as its National President for a second term during its 2026 Convention and election held on Saturday, November 7, at TEEST Hotel, Rayfield, Jos, Plateau State.
Dakas, who was sworn in alongside other elected executive members, pledged to provide inclusive, accountable and collective leadership, urging members to unite towards strengthening the association and preserving its legacy.

In her acceptance speech delivered on behalf of the newly elected executives, she expressed gratitude to God and members for renewing their confidence in her leadership, describing the mandate as a collective responsibility rather than a personal victory.
She reaffirmed her commitment to promoting unity, institutional development, social responsibility and the preservation of NOSA’s heritage.
The re-elected president also appealed to members who may have felt sidelined or whose expectations were not met under the previous administration to embrace the new leadership, assuring them of inclusiveness and equal representation.
Dakas welcomed constructive criticism as a means of improving the association, promising to listen, consult and work collaboratively with members and stakeholders.
She also acknowledged the contributions of the outgoing National Executive Council, state chapters and members, stressing that building a stronger association requires collective commitment.
