Blessing Okoro: Women only want men for either financial or emotional support’

Blessing Okoro has explained why most women want to be in a relationship with a cheating man.

The controversial blogger stated that it has nothing to do with love; instead, it is for emotional and financial support.

Blessing Okoro made this known in an Instagram post.

Do you ever wonder why women stay with cheating men, they don’t love the men anymore they are just using their emotional help or financial help .

Once she gets a replacement she moveee”

Equally important, the blogger revealed during an interview with Daddy Freeze that she started having sex at a tender age.

According to Okoro Blessing, the man she started having sex with at the age of 14; and eventually dated for four years before they got married was 10 years older than her.

Daddy Freeze shared the video with the caption:

“I started dating at 14…..

I got married and divorced while still at university…..

Onye Eze was invited by the police for questioning; the man who handcuffed me was on his knees begging.”

In fact, a couple of months ago, the blogger blatantly stated that it is the man’s responsibility to provide for a woman.

According to her, while women were cursed with going through labour to birth a child; a man’s curse is to provide. She went on to differentiate between a man and a boy.

According to her, take away that responsibility of providing from a man; and he becomes a jobless boy whose only interest is sleeping with women.

Amazon in talks to buy MGM for $9 billion

Amazon is in talks to buy film giant MGM (Metro Goldwyn Mayer). If these talks do pan out, Amazon could come to own a historic catalogue of films dating back many decades; along with an array of production and distribution companies; and content network Epix. The company has reportedly offered $9 billion for MGM.

Reports suggest earlier that a range of $7 billion to $10 billion was being considered for a potential deal. It is believed that $9 billion is the amount that MGM is hoping to get.

Metro Goldwyn Mayer has been up for sale since December 2020; and given the “jealousy that comes with the sudden impending existence of a new media giant” as AT&T combines WarnerMedia with Discovery, “it wouldn’t be very surprising if Amazon and MGM made a deal”.

However, while things look hopeful, there are some who are of the opinion that the discussions between Amazon and MGM are unclear; and it is possible that no deal might come through.

It has been stated that MGM has a library of 4,000 films and 17,000 hours of TV. Amongst all this content, the James Bond franchise is the most valuable of all. But with Disney and the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) growing larger by the day, MGM’s list of valuable franchises keeps getting smaller. When MGM was put up for sale at the end of last year, there was a $5 billion price tag on it.

NLC pledges peaceful strike in anti-worker decisions by Kaduna Govt

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Kaduna State Council, has dismissed as false, the claims by the state government that the union had mobilised mob to disrupt peace during the ongoing five-day warning strike.

A statement by the state NLC Chairman, Mr Ayuba Suleiman on Sunday, May 16, assured workers and the general public of their commitment to maintaining peace during the strike action.

“It is not in the character of Labour to indulge in such uncivilized manner,” it stressed, adding that only politicians use thugs to advance their cause.

The union, therefore, alerted the general public to watch out for thugs, it alleged were recruited by the Kaduna state government to disrupt the peace in order to blame the NLC.

“We calling the attention of the general public to the alleged planned mobilization of thugs by the State Government to discredit our peaceful protest of tomorrow.

“Hence, we advocate that the people of Kaduna State should be vigilant and stand against this plan.”

It also said: “Earlier, we were misled to commend the State Government for being the first State to implement N30, 000 minimum wage to both Civil Servants and the retirees.

“But however, we noted with dismay that the government reverted to the old minimum wage of N18, 000 in the month of April.”

It added about 20, 000 State civil servants received half salary in April, “which is even less than the former N18, 000 minimum wage.”

The union also said the state government had denied health workers almost all allowances such as hazard, call duty, shifting, and rural posting.

The NLC further said that the Kaduna state government has failed to pay the retirement benefits of 80 per cent of the 35, 000 civil servants it disengaged in 2017.

“It’s sad for Kaduna State Government to claim its commitment to the training of workers while those that are qualified for promotion remain to stagnate for years.

“On claims by the government of supporting civil servants to pay for houses through mortgages on a single digits interest, this claim is false.

“The reality of this was that this mortgage was gotten by the joint effort of NLC and TUC.

“The State Government in its ignorance failed to realize the obvious fact that payments of salaries have multiplying effects on the social welfare and economy.

“In other words, when salaries are paid it reflects down the line.”
